Role Description
Field Environmental Manager required for an ongoing contract role, working on behalf of our client, a major oil & gas/energy sector engineering company based on site in North Wales.
We are looking for candidates with at least 10 years post graduate experience within environmental engineering who have worked on major onshore or offshore oil & gas sector projects.
Role:
You will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department, and will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the company HSE guidelines and standards. You will be leading a team of 4 environmental professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activities
- Review and monitor Subcontractor compliance to environmental requirements
- Management of site environmental issues
- Interface and work with Clients,Subcontractors and Authorities
- Leading the environmental team
- Coordinate and communicate with environmental agency, local authorities, internal company’s departments and relevant external stakeholders
- Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and Environmental Investigations
- Complete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections and produce reports and data
Skills/experience required:
BEng or BSc majoring in environmental engineering or similar
Experience: 10 years in offshore and onshore projects with team leading activities
Certification: ISO 140001 Lead Auditor

Full time contract role, outside of IR35.
