Role Description
We are currently recruiting for a Power Systems Studies Engineer, working on behalf of our client, a major oil & gas engineering contractor based in Surrey.
The role:
The Power Systems Studies Engineer will support various projects which are focussed on grid connections at voltages up to 220kV.
Studies will include load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, transient stability and protection co-ordination.
Tasks will include running power system studies and overseeing third party vendors providing power system studies for projects including EMT software.
Requirements;
Knowledge of ETAP software

Contract duration: c.12 months
Rate: £62 p/h
Working hours: Average 40 hrs per week. 2 days per week remote working is possible.
Location: Surrey
