Role Description
Senior/Principal Instrument Designer required for a short-term contract role, working on behalf of our client, a global engineering and construction contractor, based at their UK head office in Surrey.
The role:
- Preparing various Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables, such as block diagrams, instrument indexes, location layouts, hookups, installation drawings, cable schedules, cable routing layouts, material takeoffs, bills of material, and layouts for control and rack room.
- Support the Lead Designer.
- Adhere to company and project standards, procedures, and specifications.
- 2D experience and the ability to develop wiring/ termination diagrams.
- Developing drawings in AutoCAD
Job Details:
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £45 / hour Outside IR35
Working hours: Full time contract - 3 days office based, 2 days hybrid.
Location: Surrey
Duration: c.2-3 months, Outside IR35
