Role Description

We are currently looking for an HSE co-ordinator for an ongoing contract role, working on a variety of projects within the oil & gas/energy industries.

This role is well suited to an early-career HSE professional with some industry experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a structured, project-based environment.

Job Description:

The Project HSE Coordinator will report to the Project HSE Manager and work as part of a dedicated HSE team, supporting the coordination and implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities across the projects.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support the continuous improvement of Project HSE documentation and systems

Assist with HSE performance reporting, including the compilation, analysis, and tracking of data and KPIs

Maintain accurate HSE databases, records, and documentation

Support the investigation, documentation, and follow-up of incidents, near misses, and corrective actions

Contribute to risk assessments, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities

Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project HSE Manager

Experience/qualifications:

Experience: Approximately 2+ years’ experience in an HSE coordination or similar role, ideally within offshore, marine, energy, or other high-risk industries

Qualifications: Relevant QHSE qualifications or certifications are advantageous

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IOGP and IMCA standards is desirable but not essential. 

Career Stage: Demonstrates a clear interest in developing a career within HSE and gaining broader project exposure
