Experienced Fabrication Methods Engineer required for permanent staff or long term contract position within oil & gas contracting company based in Surrey.
Candidates should have a minimum of 8-10 years relevant fabrication experience within the oil & gas industry, and be able to supervise a small team of staff. (5-10 people).
The successful candidate will control and guarantee the availability of technical, human and functional resources needed to achieve the project aim in terms of costs, times and quality requested.
Main Duties will include:
- As regards projects being carried out, ensure optimisation of the technical, human and functional resources utilisation programmes.
- Ensures interface between prefabrication and fabrication activities and engineering, procurement and contract administration activities.
- Ensures observance of the quality and time requirements by the sub-contractors involved in carrying out the project.
- Maintains optimal relationships with the client within the framework of the defined contract.
- Controls and manages the project technical documentation.
- Controls that the progress of the project is respected in terms of costs and times.
- Interfaces with hook up / commissioning.
- Controls and guarantees the availability of technical, human and functional resources needed to achieve the project aim in terms of costs, times and quality requested.
- Site experience & steel fabrication experience is essential
