Role Description
Experienced Weight Control Engineer required for a permanent staff role, working for a leading international offshore oil & gas/renewable energy design and engineering contractor based in London.
The succesful candidate will join their existing team working on a new floating wind project.
Skills/experience required:
- Degree qualified engineer with design experience in weight control.
- Capable of estimating, monitoring and reporting weights and center of gravity (CoG) of dry, lift and operating weights relevant to offshore structures. Able to identify and monitor weight implication due to design changes.
- Capable of coordinating for all activities related to Weight Control in accordance with project and Client requirements.
Software:
- MS Excel and hand calculations.
- Knowledge of MathCAD is preferred.
Job Details:
Location: London
Permanent staff role - salary negotiable, depending upon level of experience. Generous staff benefits package will apply.
Start date: January 2024
