Role Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a global oil & gas design and engineering contractor based in London, for a graduate Structural Engineer to join their busy team working on a number of offshore oil & gas projects.
Applicants must have a degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering only (2:1 or 1st) or be expected to graduate in summer 2024 with this grade. We regret that this role is not suitable for candidates with a degree in any other subject.
Training and development will be provided to build a range of technical and professional skills within the engineering department, which are necessary to work in our client's multi-disciplinary project based organisation covering a range of work locations.
Our client encourages and supports all engineers in their professional development to achieve Chartered Engineer status.
Candidates must have strong analytical skills, be able to perform structural analysis and design tasks together with preparation of analysis documents and high quality structural design sketches used for the production of formal design drawings.
Candidates should have:
- A strong analytical/design capability
- Good interpersonal skills
- Interest in performing advanced analysis work
- A willingness to work in an offshore environment during construction activities.
Knowledge of or interest in offshore oil & gas engineering projects is advantageous.
Job Details:
Graduate training scheme - permanent staff role.
Location: Whilst the role will predominantly be London based, flexibility is required to undertake work in other offices and offshore sites at appropriate times when required.
