Mechanical Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our client, a global engineering contractor based in Surrey.

Our client requires a PMC to support the construction of their new facilities abraod.

The primary aim is to provide expertise to assist with CAPEX reduction and an increased rate of return. The client and PMC teams will evaluate the scope development of licensors, technology and service providers as well as engineering integrator.

The rest of the work will be typical PMC.

Work includes;

• Supporting Engineering Partners and Licensors in developing all engineering deliverables to ensure a safe process unit fully integrated into the relevant refinery site.
• Reviewing of engineering documentation from Licensor / Engineering partner.
• Attend meetings.
• Provide progress reports.

Required;

• Experience working as a PMC.
• Specialist and detailed knowledge static equipment types (pressure vessels and tanks). 
• In addition, heat exchanger experience (shell & tubes and air cooler types) is also preferred.

The Role;

Working hours: Full time, 40 hrs per week.

3 days based in our client's offices in Surrey with 2 days remote working.

Occasional travel to contractors and clients abroad required.

Rate: £60 p/h Ltd Co. Role expected to fall outside of IR35 but will be subject to a pre contract determination assessment

Start date: ASAP.
