Telecoms Engineer

Senior Telecoms Engineer required to work on an LNG FEED Project for an initial 12 month contract role with an oil & gas engineering company based in Surrey. 

Previous telecoms engineering experience working on onshore oil & gas onshore installation projects is essential.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop Specification/Technical Evaluation of Telecom systems like LAN-WAN Systems, Fibre Optic Cable Systems, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Public Address General Alarm Systems (PAGA), PABX, Hotline Systems, Wireless/Microwave/ TMR Radio Systems, Perimeter/Fence Intrusion Detection System, etc. focusing on safety, reliability, and quality.
• Hands-on experience in Creating Block Diagram, Schematic Diagram, Cable Schedule, Equipment Schedule, datasheets, Interconnection, and Wiring diagram, Cabinet General Arrangement Diagram, MTO and layout drawings, etc. for oil and gas onshore installations.
• Greenfield and brownfield telecom project in Oil and gas project experience is essential. 
• Middle east onshore experience is essential together with awareness of Saudi Aramco standards.

Job Details:

Location: Surrey - office based 5 days per week, however 2 days hybrid WFH may be possible

Rate: £55 p/h Ltd Co - role is expected to fall outside of IR35 but will be subject to a pre-contract determination assessment.
