Principal Electrical Engineer

Principal Electrical Engineer required for ongoing contract role, working for our client, a global oil & gas engineering contractor on an  LNG FEED project. 

Please note that this role is full time office based, and falls inside of IR35. 

Typically the required competency and skills would have been built up over a 12 year period working for a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end user company.

Candidate requirements are:

• Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
• Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience.
• Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing electrical systems for voltages up to 132kV including overhead lines, reactive power compensation etc for various energy transition projects in FEED and / or EPC. Their experience shall include designs for 132kV electrical distribution systems, interfacing with grid company, protection requirements and brownfield modifications. Knowledge should include Aramco Standards and Grid Code requirements.
• Previous experience working on Aramco projects is essential.

Rate: c. £50 p/h PAYE.  Only PAYE and Umbrella company contracts accepted as the role falls inside of IR35. 

Duration: 12 months+
