Role Description

Technical/Administrative Officer require for temporary role working for the Housing & Regeneration team of our client, a local authority based in North London.

We are ideally looking for candidates with some previous experience within the building/construction industry for this role which will involve being part of a busy front line service for Reactive Repairs.

Duties will include administrative support for the Housing & Regeneration Place Technical Team, taking minutes at meetings monitoring and maintaining records using a variety of IT systems, collating papers for legal casework, raising repair orders completing invoices with our computer systems or via Landlords, property inspections, monitoring Surveyors Inspections and liaising with Agents and Landlord, contractors and covering other duties as they arise.

Candidates will require good organisational and time management skills and can work in a target orientated environment. They will be required to communicate confidently particularly when dealing with members of the public.

A good working knowledge of various IT systems is preferable such as Northgate, Iclipse and Microsoft Office.

The role works a 35 hour week, hours normally 9am to 5pm but flexible hours can be agreed subject to needs of the service and to be agreed by your line manager.
