Role Description
We are now recruiting for a highly experienced HSE Officer & Trainer to work on behalf of our client, a leading oil & gas engineering contractor, to be mainly based at their UK head office in London. The successful candidate will be working on a large offshore pipeline project
Job Specification:
- To develop, organise and conduct Project, Corporate and Statutory HSE Training programs.
- Lead Incident and Root Cause Analysis Investigations.
- Execute the HSE Audit Plan and Manage Corrective Actions.
- Perform HSE Coaching at the Worksite.
- Delivery of Behavioural Safety Initiatives and Campaigns.
- Responsible for the HSE Performance, Trend Analysis and Reporting.
- Support the implementation of the Safe Systems of Work.
- Execute the Project Risk Assessment Schedule.
- Support Worksite HSE Readiness Processes.
- Collate and Input HSE Data.
- Procurement of HSE Items.
Competencies:
- Experience & Understanding of IMCA, IOGP, CDM & HSE ACOPS
- Availability to support Incident Investigations at short notice.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Packages, in particular Excel.
- Retains an Innovative Mindset with a Proactive approach
- Possesses the ability to Communicate to all Organisational Levels.
- Self-Motivated and Proactive Individual that works well within a Team.
- Interpersonal Skills, comfortable and confident with Delivering Training.
- Conflict Management and handling challenging Situations
Qualifications:
- Preevious experience working for IMCA Contractor for a minimum of 2 Years (preferable)
- NEBOSH General Certificate or Equivalent
- Ideally NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent - (NVQ)
- IOSH Accreditation, in alignment with Professional Status (preferable)
- OPITO Recognised, Offshore Survival Training & Medical Certification – (BOSIET or Equivalent) - preferable
- Root Cause Analysis Certification (preferable)
Job Details:
Location: Weekly attendance at the London Kingston Offices - minimum of 3 days per week. Remote working online from home or other facilities 2 days per week.
Travel will be required including onshore site visits (NE England), plus offshore/vessel
