Senior Pipeline Engineer

Senior Pipeline Engineer required for contract or permanent staff role within offshore oil & gas contractors based in Surrey. 

Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years previous subsea and pipeline engineering experience.  You must be familiar with relevant codes & standards, and be experienced in the use of pipeline design engineering software.

Duties will include the performance of general submarine pipeline design engineering, including analysis for:

• wall thickness
• stability
• free span
• expansion
• bottom roughness
• global buckling

The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in preparation or review of specifications, MTOs, requisitions and other procurement support activities.

Qualifications:

Degree qualified in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Aeronautical discipline.

Preferably Chartered Engineer
