Role Description

Experienced Lead Contracts Advisor required for a permanent staff role, working for a leading international offshore oil & gas engineering company, based in London.

The role encompasses deployment of Contract Management activities for London hub of our client, during pre-qualification, qualification, tender and commercial phase and support to projects in execution.

The role will entail:

• Legal and contract management support to business acquisition on tender activities, contract drafting and negotiation. Ensure contracts are entered into with acceptable risks. Review and qualify contracts and legal documents.

• Legal and contract management support to project management teams on change order request and claim preparation, management, negotiation and resolution, dispute settlement and other legal issues linked to project execution. Prepare contract induction and review at the beginning of projects.  

• Prepare and review legal documents such as pre-contractual arrangements, contracts, agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, consortium and joint venture agreements, and the like.

• Legal advice on specific issues inherent to the Company and/or Corporate activities. Assist the Company Secretary as may be required on specific occasions.

A minimum of 5-10 years experience in a similar role within the oil & gas sector is essential for this position.
