Welding Co-ordinator

Welding Co-ordinator required for long term contract position within offshore oil & gas contractors based in Surrey.                             

Qualifications & Experience:                                                   
                                                   
Candidates must have substantial experience as a welding engineer in pipelines or within the oil and gas construction environment having had major project responsibility.                                                   
You should either currently have or have expectations to qualify as a European Welding Engineer and will be willing to work flexibly in terms of assignments to the welding laboratory and offshore installation vessels.                                                   
                                                   
International travel and offshore work are an inherent part of this job.                                                   
                                                   
Ability to work with a team made up of different nationalities is essential.                                                   
                                                   
You must be a graduate in material science, metallurgy or mechanical engineering or equivalent, and also hold a qualification in welding engineering                                                   
                                                   
Fluency in written English is essential (which will be tested in the interview)                                                   
                                                   
IT literate in Microsoft Office programs
