Role Description
We are currently recruiting for two Senior Naval Analysis Engineers for permanent staff roles with our client, a major international oil & gas engineering design & construction contractor based in Surrey.
We are looking for Naval Architects or Marine Engineers with strong analytical capability having considerable experience in offshore/ marine construction operations. Ideally, candidates will have considerable experience using naval architecture analysis software such as MOSES,GMOOR, AnySIM, Orcaflex or similar and programming skills/good knowledge of Excel.
Job Function:
Reporting to the Lead Naval Architect, you will be responsible for the analytical simulations and solutions for offshore heavy lift operations, barge transportation, jacket launch etc.
Experience & Qualifications required:
- Software skills: Specialist naval Architecture software such as MOSES, AnySIM, GMoor, Ariane, plus industry standard software such as Orcaflex and CFD.
- Engineering Degree qualification (Naval Architecture, Ship Science or similar) is essential.
