        <description> Experienced Proposals Leader required for staff position within offshore oil &#38;amp; gas contractors based in Surrey/SW London.
Duties will include:

Co-ordinating and preparing the company's tenders to client.
Communicating the tender strategy and directing the efforts of the tender support team.
Liaise with internal departments (QHSE, Operations, Engineering, F&#38;amp;A, Procurement) to ensure that tender deadlines are met.
Co-ordinating all pre-award correspondence with the client.
Preparing and assisting with tender pre-qualification submissions.
Performing presentations to Prospective clients.
Responsible for bid delivery to the client.
Updating the Proposals Manager on a regular basis about progress and areas of difficulty.
Providing input for the estimating process and reviewing output.
Leading tender negotiations with the client.
Responsible for defining all strategic subcontracts prior to contract award.
Co-ordinating the full handover to the Project Manager after award
Monitoring and maintaining security of information and data.
Performing additional duties as advised by superiors.

Qualifications/Experience required:

Must have minimum 5-7 years experience within Proposals / Tendering, preferably with an offshore pipeline / subsea construction background.
Must have experience working with &#38;pound;multi million proposals.
Good knowledge in computer programs (word and excel spreadsheet)
Will be working within a close knit team so must be a team player.
Must be willing to travel.
On occasions work the long hours required to complete the Tender and meet critical deadlines.
Qualification in engineering (preferably offshore) is desireable.

Role Analysis:

Organise &#38;amp; manage the Project Control department of the company.

Staff and manage all departmental resources (project control engineers, planning engineers, cost control engineers, risk engineers) required for an adequate control of Projects, co-ordinating workload analysis, recruitment, training, assignment to Project Teams, supervision, performance evaluation.
Establish the requirements and co-ordinate the implementation of systems tools and applications necessary to support the project control activities.
Manage all interface issues with other company functions.
Address the design &#38;amp; set up of the control system on the main complex projects, scaling the control effort and the standard procedures to the specific complexity.
Organise and maintain project control databased and the feedback system to the commercial department.
Maintaing a systematic liaison with the corporate function, ensuring full compliance and application of corporate guidelines and standards.
